Dr Saini Shruthi took her MD in Anaesthesia at PGIMER, Chandigarh, holds a PDCC in Pain & Palliative Care, and is EDAIC certified - the European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care. Pain medicine and palliative care are her subspecialty: acute, chronic and cancer pain, and symptom control for patients whose treatment has shifted from cure to comfort. In theatre she covers high-risk surgical anaesthesia, obstetric anaesthesia and labour analgesia, regional anaesthesia with ultrasound-guided blocks, and advanced airway management, and she works in the ICU. Her interests include enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) and acute pain services. She has 11 years of experience and practises at Nizamabad.
