Dr Subbur Rama Devi holds an FIPM in pain medicine alongside her Diploma in Anaesthesiology, and pain is the half of her practice that sets it apart: interventional techniques for acute, chronic and cancer-related pain, where the aim is to treat the pain itself as the condition rather than as a symptom of something else. In theatre she provides general, regional, spinal and epidural anaesthesia, including cardiac anaesthesia and neonatal and paediatric cases, and manages difficult airways and high-risk perioperative patients.
