Dr Chetan Veeramaneni

Dr Chetan Veeramaneni is a nephrologist and renal transplant physician with three published studies in Kidney International Reports: a 20-year single-centre renal biopsy registry, a paediatric study from a tertiary centre, and work on acute peritoneal dialysis in acute kidney injury. He holds a DM in Nephrology and a Fellowship in Diabetes - a useful pairing, since diabetic kidney disease is the commonest route to dialysis. He manages chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, glomerular and autoimmune kidney disease, polycystic kidney disease, and resistant and secondary hypertension, runs haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, and handles pre-transplant evaluation through post-transplant immunosuppression.
