Dr Ankam Mounika

Dr Ankam Mounika co-authored a prospective clinical study on the surgical management of diabetic foot in 52 patients at Durga Bai Deshmukh Hospital & Research Centre. She holds a DNB in General Surgery and has trained specifically in minimally invasive technique - laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair by both e-TEP and TAPP approaches, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, and 1470 nm laser surgery, which is used for anorectal work and varicose veins with less tissue damage than conventional excision. Her caseload covers hernia, piles, fissure and fistula, varicose veins, surgical infection, abscesses and cysts. She is BLS certified and practises at Hastinapuram.
