Dr Aliya Roohi

Dr Aliya Roohi has delivered more than 1,300 babies normally and performed over 1,200 obstetric surgeries, with more than 2,500 healthy babies delivered in total. Her practice concentrates on high-risk and complicated pregnancy - twin pregnancy, pregnancy with diabetes, ectopic and molar pregnancy - alongside laparoscopic gynaecological surgery and infertility treatment. She has published on predicting pre-eclampsia using platelet indices and on kidney injury and maternal outcomes in COVID-19-infected pregnant women across the first and second waves, and has presented at AICOG, ISSRF and OGSSI. She also runs adolescent and menopausal women's health clinics. She holds an MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, is a member of FOGSI, and practises at Sangareddy.
