Dr. Karan Rajgopal Kalani

Dr Karan Rajgopal Kalani holds a DM in Cardiology and works across both the diagnostic and interventional sides: coronary angiography and angioplasty in the cath lab, and echocardiography including transoesophageal echo - the probe passed behind the heart to see valves and clots that a surface scan cannot resolve. He also runs cardiac intensive care and heart failure management, and treats hypertension, cardiomyopathy, dyslipidaemia, palpitations and cardiac breathlessness. His research interest is Brugada syndrome, an inherited rhythm disorder that causes sudden cardiac death in otherwise healthy young adults. He practises at Kompally.

Qualified with DM (Cardiology) and specialized training in advanced cardiovascular care. Expertise in Interventional Cardiology, Coronary Angiography, and Coronary Angioplasty ,Skilled in heart failure management, cardiac intensive care, and advanced cardiac imaging. ,Proficient in echocardiography, electrocardiography, and non-invasive cardiac diagnostics.
